The following terms and conditions apply to all tours
described in this catalog. Should there be additional
information on your selected tour, including important
information regarding reservations and cancellations,
please consult the following paragraphs specifically
relating to that tour.
Futures Travel reserves the right to cancel any tour
prior to departure for any reason, including insufficient
number of participants.

| Tour Prices: |
Our Prices include air fare, hotel accommodations, escorts and meals where they are indicated. All prices are based on rates known at the time of printing and are subject to change without notice if such rates change prior to departure. Tour prices are per person, based on double occupancy. Single room supplements and triple room charges are available upon request. |
| Reservations & Payment Breakdown: |
| A deposit of
$ 300 per person will be required at the time of
booking. Final payment is due 45 days prior to the
departure date. No booking will be deemed confirmed
until deposit or full payment is received by Futures
Travel. It is the responsibility of the traveler to arrange
that the final payment reaches Futures Travel on time.
If payments are not received within the time frame,
Futures Travel has the right to cancel the bookings
without any liability. For bookings made within 45 days
of departure dates, full payment is due at time of booking. |
| Cancellations, Changes & Refunds: |
Cancellations and
changes must be received by Futures Travel in writing,
fax or e-mail. For Escorted Tours, cancellations received
45 days prior to the departure date will have a
penalty of $ 50.00 per person; cancellations received
between 45 and 31 days will have a penalty of 25% per
person; cancellations received between 30 and 6 days
will have a penalty of 50% per person. Cancellations
received 5 days or less from date of departure or “no shows” will receive no refund. |
| Amenities: |
Amenities: No refunds will be made for abandonment
of services. No refunds will be made for transfers,
meals, or any services that are voluntarily not taken.
Airfare: Airlines impose a change penalty of between
$ 300.00 and $ 400.00 on most tickets modified after
the ticketing deadline. Airlines may charge additional
penalties and most tickets are not refundable in case
of cancellation. Futures Travel will pass any airline
ticketing penalties, plus a $ 50.00 per ticket fee for
administrative expenses, on to the traveler. Air ticket
penalties may be waived if the cancellation is due to
illness or death of the traveler or a member of the
immediate family, and an official death certificate or
medical documents are provided, but this is not always
the case. Futures Travel will fully refund moneys if
we cancel a departure for any reason whatsoever,
including insufficient number of participants. |
| Changes: |
Travelers holding confirmed tour
reservations may request a change of date to another
Futures Travel tour of equal or greater value. Changes
can be made up to 45 days prior to departure but are
subject to availability. There will be a charge of $ 50.00
per person for such changes if accepted by Futures
Travel. |
| Insurance: |
Baggage, trip cancellation or interruption
and Personal Accident Insurance covering your entirereservation is strongly recommended. ALL BAGGAGE
AND PERSONAL PROPERTY IS CARRIED AT THE
OWNER’S OWN RISK and neither the Tour Operator or
its agents, representatives or contractors is responsible
for any damages or loss thereto. Such insurance may
be obtained separately through Futures Travel.
Travel Documents: IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF
ALL PASSENGERS to be in possession of a valid
passport, visa(s) and any other documentation
required by applicable government regulations. Please
check with Futures Travel for more information. |
| Planning and Operation
Hotels: |
Hotels are classified by Futures Travel using
Government ratings, which sometimes vary from
country to country. Futures Travel reserves the right to
make substitutions with hotels of similar or higher
ratings. Such substitutions may be made at any time
and without prior notice. Futures Travel can not be
held responsible for hotel over-bookings; should such
occur, Futures Travel will find similar accommodations
an the same area. Accommodations are based on two
persons sharing a room with private bath/shower.
Accommodations are in standard rooms, some rooms
will be larger or smaller than others and some may be
better than others. All room assignments are made by
the hotel management upon your arrival, and Futures
Travel has no control over which room you will receive |
| Tour Services: |
If the services included in the tour cannot
be supplied, or there are changes in itineraries for
any reasons beyond our control, Futures Travel will
arrange for the provision of comparable services. Any
resulting additional expenses incurred will be payable
by tour participants; likewise, any resulting savings will
be reimbursed to the tour participants. |
| Handicapped Passengers: |
Passengers who require
any form of assistance must be accompanied by a
helper who is totally responsible for that passenger.
Most transportation services are not equipped with
wheelchair ramps. |
| Meals: |
Continental breakfast, lunch and dinner where
specified. Meals do not normally include beverages
except coffee or tea with breakfasts. |
| Checking Out: |
Please allow sufficient time to settle
any personal bills you may have for telephone, room
service, laundry, beverages, etc. so as not to delay any
departure schedules. |
| Baggage: |
| Baggage Allowance: |
Passengers may check one bag
per person with maximum linear dimension (length
plus height plus width) of 107” (273 cm), provided the
bag does not exceed a 70 lb. limit. Each passenger may
also carry one piece of hand luggage in his/her own
custody on board the aircraft. Carry-on bag should not
exceed 45”. |
| Baggage Handling: |
This is included at most hotels and
motorcoaches, and includes the handling of one
normal sized suitcase per person, plus one small
overnight bag. |
| Seat Assignment: |
We suggest that tour participants
contact the airline directly, 3 to 6 weeks prior to
departure for seat assignments. |
| Sightseeing and Itineraries: |
Sightseeing is included
as per our itineraries and will be under the direction
of licensed local guides. Entrance fees to all sites
visited are included where indicated. During holidays,
some sights such as museums or religious institutions
may be closed or unavailable for visits. Futures Travelreserves the right to vary the sequence of sightseeng
and/or to re-route rthe order of cities should
circumstances warrent, in any case, the contents of the
itinerary will be kept., however way the order may be
changed. Optional visits and excursions are offered in
most cities, which can be purchased locally. |
| Tour Escort: |
As indicated in tour features, a
professional bilingual tour director will accompany
tours. Ground transportation is provided by private,
air-conditioned coach or other conveyance as specified
in the itinerary. On our tours the following rules apply:
NO SMOKING and SEAT ROTATION. |
| Not Included: |
Transportation between home
and local airport, porterage at U.S. gateways, air
transportation airport taxes, customs fees, immigration
fees, agricultural fees, and any other charges/fees
imposed at airports. Tips to tour directors, local guides
and motorcoach drivers, telephone calls, laundry
services and other items of a personal nature.
Sightseeing or meals other than those included in the
brochure itinerary. |
| Responsibility: |
Futures Travel and its agents act only
as agents for the traveler’s hotels, restaurants,
sightseeing and transportation (such as railroad,
motorcoach, aircraft, boat, automobile or any
conveyance). Futures Travel and its agents shall not be
responsible or liable for any injury, loss or damage,
delay or inconvenience arising out of or in connection
with any defect in any vehicle or any act, omission,
neglect, accident, error or default of any company or
person engaged in providing such amenity as hotels,
restaurant, sightseeing, transportation or other
services of the tour. Futures Travel and its agents shall
not be responsible or liable for changes to the tour
itinerary, if such alterations become necessary for the
comfort or safety of our travelers, or for any reason
whatsoever. Futures Travel reserves the right to alter
or cancel any or all tours or portions thereof. The sole
and exclusive responsibility and liability of the airline
shall be in accordance with and is limited by the
contract of carriage on the passenger’s ticket, the
applicable tariffs, and provisions of the Warsaw
Convention. |
Futures Travel reserves the right to accept or reject
any person as a tour participant whose conduct is
deemed incompatible with the interest of the tour
group. Any incurred expenses will be at the charge of
the expelled tour participant. |
